White NYPD Officer Shot And Killed by Black During Burglary In Cypress Hills  A manhunt continued for the second suspect involved in the deadly shooting of a New York City police officer earlier in the morning. New details also emerged suggesting that the alleged gunman should have been in jail weeks ago. Officer Peter Figoski, 47, was shot in the face while responding to a gunpoint robbery around 2:15 a.m. Monday at a basement apartment on Pine Street in Cypress Hills. After being rushed to Jamaica Hospital, Figoski died a few hours later. White woman choked, nearly raped in parking lot confronts black attacker   Typically, media doesn’t reveal the names of faces of sexual assault victims, but Heidi Damon asked to be seen. The way Damon sees it, if anyone should be embarrassed, it’s the teen that attacked her and attempted to rape her two years ago in an Ybor City parking garage. “I’m not the victim, I’m the victor,” Damon said, face-to-face to her attacker at his sentencing. Jovon Cooper was 16 when he attacked Damon, choking her until she blacked out. When Damon later woke, she was naked from the waist down. Murder charge follows Saturday slaying of White woman by black A Muncie man arrested in the brutal slaying of a local woman has now been preliminarily charged with killing her. Terry Donald Rutledge, a convicted felon, was preliminarily charged with murder. Rutledge is accused of killing Tonia J. Ingram whose body was found, on fire. Antowyn Tavares Warren a convicted felon, is preliminarily charged with assisting a criminal and obstruction of justice. Jailed on those same two charges was 36-year-old Regina N. Jury to decide whether convicted black killer of (White) Shanon Marks should die   The final decision on whether Rayshawn Johnson will be executed will be resolved. Johnson was convicted of murder and sentenced to death in 1998 for the baseball bat bludgeoning death of his neighbor, 29-year-old Shanon Marks. Johnson lived in his grandmother's apartment that overlooked the home of Marks and her husband, who were planning to celebrate her third wedding anniversary that night. Johnson beat her with the bat 13 times, the last three in the head. Her husband found her body 13 hours later in a pool of her blood. In addition to the fatal blows that fractured her skull, she also suffered a broken jaw and a broken left arm. Black arrested in (White) Army soldier's murder  Athens-Clarke County police arrested a man they say fatally shot Army soldier Jeremy Sean Buchanan. Cody Stanley Lumpkin, 21, was arrested for Buchanan's shooting death. Police say Lumpkin shot him on Sunday at Rolling Ridge Apartments in Athens. Witnesses told police they saw Buchanan walk toward the breezeway of an apartment building with at least one other man, when a gunshot rang out. Alabama Executes Black Who Shot, Killed White Store Clerk  Alabama has executed a man described by a police informant as trying to make a name for himself when he killed a convenience store clerk in 1994 during a robbery. Thirty-seven-year-old Derrick O. Mason was given a lethal injection and was pronounced dead at 6:49 p.m. central time Thursday at Holman Prison. Mason was convicted of killing 25-year-old Angela Cagle during the attempted robbery of a convenience store in Huntsville, Alabama. Black finally executed for murder of White police officer in 1989   Georgia Executes Troy Davis … as Slain Police Officer's Son Watches Troy Davis was executed Wednesday in Georgia. The lethal injection brought some relief to the family of a police officer whom Davis was convicted of killing. Savannah, Georgia police officer Mark Allen MacPhail was shot three times on August 19, 1989 when he responded to a man’s call for help. The police officer was moonlighting as a security guard at a fast food restaurant. MacPhail was shot twice. He fell. He never pulled his gun. After falling, he was shot once more, point blank in the face as he lay helpless on the ground. Davis, who was just 20 years old, surrendered four days later. Black is first to receive lethal injection for rape and murder of 88-year-old White woman   A (black) who raped and suffocated an 88-year-old woman was the first person in Virginia to receive a lethal injection using a revised three-drug version, last Thursday (Aug 18). Jerry Terrell Jackson, 30, was put to death after he was found guilty of the rape and murder of seamstress Ruth Phillips in her Williamsburg apartment in 2001. It has been reported that Jackson broke into the woman's home during a burglary, put a pillow over her face and raped her. Evil homeless Negro finally arrested for murder of White high school girl thanks to DNA  Nearly seven years after she was killed, police say they've found the man who killed Gina Gruenwald. Gruenwald's body was found August 21, 2004 in Denver, Colorado. Friends had dropped her off after a night out and her body was found just four blocks away the following morning. She had been stabbed in the neck. The crime scene showed Gruenwald had struggled with the person who killed her, including a bite mark made by the attacker. It's that bite mark, which left behind DNA, that led prosecutors to charge 42-year-old Billy Wilson this week. Wilson is said to be a homeless man who was arrested earlier this year on an unrelated case in San Francisco. A DNA sample obtained from Wilson was entered into a national database and was a match for Gruenwald's case. Black Nebraskan jailed in Congressman Boswell attack   A 20-year-old Fremont man who authorities say was the gunman in a burglary and home-invasion robbery attempt this weekend at the Lamoni, Iowa, farmhouse of U.S. Rep. Leonard Boswell was arrested Tuesday. David Palmer Dewberry was taken into custody in Independence, Mo., and was being held on a federal warrant alleging unlawful flight to avoid prosecution. Dewberry and his family had lived in Lamoni for a time before moving to Nebraska, and his mother was friendly with Boswell's wife. He had been to the Boswell home. Dewberry entered the home Saturday night and attacked the congressman's daughter. Boswell, 77, tried to fight the man off. As they scuffled, his 22-year-old grandson got a shotgun. Black Man Charged With Murdering White Ex-Girlfriend  A Golden Valley, Minn. man has been charged with murdering a 19-year-old woman from Henderson. Nineteen-year-old Damone Christopher Williams-Tillman is charged with second-degree murder in the death of 19-year-old Josselyn Bishop, of Henderson, Minn. Bishop was found unresponsive but warm to the touch Friday afternoon in a commercial district of Mankato. Kidd, 33. Kidd, 33, was found dead in his home at 3402 N. Clay St. after officer responded to a report of shots fired. Birago Blackshear, 32, of South Jackson Street, is charged with murder in the death of 18-year-old Ashton Miranda Bartlett. Virginia sets execution date for black rape-killer of 88-year-old White widow An August execution has been set for a Virginia inmate convicted of raping and killing an elderly woman in 2001. Twenty-nine-year-old Jerry Terrell Jackson is set to be executed Aug. 18 for the rape and murder of Ruth Phillips of Williamsburg, an 88-year-old widow. Jackson was convicted of rape, capital murder and other charges in 2002. He was found to have broken into the home of Phillips on Aug. 26, 2001, through a partially open bathroom window, raping her and smothering her with a pillow. Jackson, then 20, fled in Phillips' 1987 Dodge sedan, taking her diamond wedding ring and other jewelry. DNA from the murder scene matched Jackson, and he confessed to the crime in a videotaped statement. The jury recommended death, with a judge imposing that sentence in 2003. | Black in court for assassination of White police officer Black formally charged in death of White Sandusky officer   The man suspected of killing a Sandusky officer has been formally charged with aggravated murder. Kevin Randleman, 50. Randleman is currently under guard. There will be no bond. Randleman is charged in the death of Officer Andrew Dunn, 30, who was shot and killed Saturday around 3 a.m. Randleman was riding a bicycle when he was stopped by Officer Dunn. Police say an exchange of gunfire then took place and Dunn received multiple gunshot wounds. Black woman arrested for kidnap, murder and burning of body of 12-year-old White boy  Police say a 44-year-old woman charged with capital murder in the kidnapping and death of a 12-year-old Houston boy admitted to discarding a body, but said she didn’t kill the child. Mona Yvette Nelson, a maintenance worker for several area apartment complexes, was arrested and charged on Wednesday. Investigators believe she kidnapped, killed and burned the body of Jonathan Foster on Christmas Eve. Foster had been left alone at his mother’s apartment while she and her roommate worked that day.
