Family Shocked Linden-Area Rapist In Custody  COLUMBUS,
Ohio -- People living in the Linden area said Monday night said they were in shock
that Robert N. Patton Jr. was accused of committing several rapes in Columbus
since 1991. Police said he may be responsible for at least 11 rapes in Columbus
and California connected by DNA since 1991. He was charged with one count of rape
but more charges are pending. Patton might be connected to 21 rapes. Patton has
been in prison four times. |

accused of stabbing four at state mental hospital - Going
for 'insanity defense'?  Marquise
Harris, 24, is charged with trying to kill his sister and her friend. Now, he
is in trouble again. He's accused of stabbing four people at a state mental
hospital Monday, including a doctor and a nurse. He was sent to the Middle Tennessee
Mental Health Institute by the medical staff at the Metro Jail for a mental evaluation
by a psychiatrist when he pulled out a weapon and attacked five people. A psychiatrist
was cut in the head and a nurse got it in the arm. Harris also allegedly cut a

FULTON, KY -- It happened Sunday morning while the 78-year-old woman lay sleeping. That's when police say a man broke in and did more than just rob her. Carolina: Woman Fights Off Attempted Rape, Police Nab Suspect  DAVIDSON,
N.C. -- Police in Davidson arrested a man they say sexually assaulted a woman
in her home around 3 a.m. Friday. The 55-year-old woman told police a man climbed
in her window and tried to rape her. She fought him off two different times. Police
have arrested Willie Donaldson who is in custody at the Mecklenburg County
Jail. Donaldson was captured a few blocks away by police dogs. Police

Accused in Wash. Sex Abuse - "Evil Twin" SEATTLE
-- Dozens of women have sued a gynecologist, saying he performed unnecessary and
painful surgeries, molested them and in some cases raped them in the exam room.
In 44 lawsuits, former patients say Dr. Charles Momah fondled their breasts
and genitals, and frequently penetrated them with a vaginal ultrasound probe that
gynecologists rarely use. Some women allege Momah even allowed his identical
twin, Dr. Dennis Momah, to impersonate him and "examine" patients.

Crematory Case Jurors to Come From Lee Co.  LaFAYETTE,
Ga. -- The jury in the trial of a crematory owner accused of discarding corpses
on his property will be selected from a county 200 miles away, a judge decided
Thursday. The trial of former Tri-State Crematory operator Brent Marsh
is scheduled to start Oct. 11 in Walker County, in north Georgia. |

say Denbigh High School teacher Mandel Kreen Johnson was arrested at his
home on Savage Drive after allegations were made that he hugged and kissed a 15-year
old female student at the school. Johnson is a special education teacher

Accused Of Planting Dead Mouse In Soup at Newport News Cracker Barrel Restaurant  A
woman who claimed she found a mouse in her soup was accused with her son of planting
the mouse and attempting to extort money from a national restaurant chain.
Carla Patterson and Ricky Patterson were charged with attempted extortion
and conspiracy to commit a felony after they tried to get Cracker Barrel to give

Heights Riot Convict Out of Prison BEAUMONT,
Texas -- A man convicted of stabbing a Jewish man during the 1991 Crown Heights
race riots in New York was released from a
federal prison in Texas. Lemrick Nelson will spend the next nine months
at a halfway house in New Jersey. 7-year-old Gavin
Cato, who was black, was struck and killed by a driver belonging to
an ultra-Orthodox community. A gang of angry blacks shouting "Get the Jew!"
fatally stabbed Yankel Rosenbaum. |

Orleans: All-Out Search Under Way For City's Most Wanted Police
said Antoine Johnson is armed and very dangerous. Johnson is one of three
suspects in a car wash shooting that was recorded by video surveillance cameras.
He was freed May 7 after a judge decided there was not sufficient probable cause
to hold him. Less than 48 hours later, police said Johnson killed a man and wounded
a 14-year-old girl. In the latest incident Johnson tried to shoot a 13-year-old

two teenage girls, 14 and 16 years

25, is charged with two felony counts of gross sexual imposition, including soliciting
minors, and one misdemeanor count of delivering alcohol to a minor. His preliminary
hearing was Thursday in East Central District Court. Authorities have said he

Suspect Tyrone Raymond Caught In Indiana  HAHNVILLE,
La. -- There was a break this weekend in the four-year-old case of a Laplace cab
driver who was killed on Easter Sunday 2004. Deputies on Sunday arrested Tyrone
Raymond, 29, in the death of Janice Fugate,
61. Raymond had lived next door to Fugate, and has been implicated in her death

Hall, a co-ed, predominantly freshman dorm. Officials would not say how Faulkner,

Bend men from Mexico have been arrested on rape and other charges in connection
with “numerous” alleged assaults on a 12-year-old Bend girl. The trio,
two of whom are brothers, face likely deportation by federal authorities. Romulo
Santos-Elias, 21, was arrested. Also arrested were Geremias Jocobo Angeles,
24, on second-degree rape and second-degree sex abuse charges. The third suspect,
Bartolo Santos-Elias, was arrested on charges of second-degree rape, first-degree
attempted sexual abuse, second-degree sodomy and second-degree unlawful sexual

17-year-old township girl has alleged
that a stranger sexually assaulted her at knifepoint in her home. The man threatened
to kill her, knocked her down, and raped her while brandishing the knife, after
he barged into her apartment at approximately 12:15 pm. The victim told authorities
she saw her attacker playing basketball on a court located in the apartment
complex earlier that day, but had never seen the assailant before that day, police
said. Authorities continue to search for the alleged attacker, described as an
African-American male. 
Hundreds
of volunteers continued the search for missing student Brooke
Wilberger. Wilberger vanished one week ago today. Police believe she
was abducted. Police arrested a "person of interest" in the case on
unrelated burglary charges. Sung Koo Kim was released later on bail. Detectives
