Carjackings Suspect Nabbed in Mo. A
man who police said carjacked four vehicles in the San Francisco Bay area -- sexually
assaulting two of the victims -- was arrested in Missouri. Derrick Austin Hill,
22, was arrested without incident as he and a friend drove toward St. Louis. Hill
was jailed in Missouri and officials sought to extradite him to California. Hill

Black charged with rape-murder of 81-yr-old woman
CINCINNATI -- A man charged with murdering two women in other states has been
charged with killing an 81-year-old woman in her Covedale apartment. Cincinnati
Police today filed an arrest warrant for Willie James Hodges, 44, for the
rape and murder of LaVern Jansen. Hodges is in jail awaiting trial
for the murder and rape of a 58-year-old woman
and he's also been charged with the murder and

Man Accused Of Sexually Assaulting 75-Year-Old Woman SAN
ANTONIO -- A district judge denied a request to suppress DNA evidence in a rape
trial. Lawyers for Melvin Lewis argued that police used an invalid search
warrant when they obtained a DNA sample from the defendant, who is accused of
sexually assaulting a 75-year-old woman. . But the judge disagreed with defense
lawyers and ruled that the DNA sample, the heart of the prosecution's case, will
be allowed to be used as evidence in the trial. |

Third Former La Salle Player Charged With Rape - a migrant from England Philadelphia
police say a third former La Salle University basketball player is now charged
with rape. Police say 22-year-old Dzaflo Larkai is now facing charges for
an allegation that he attacked a woman in April of last year. Larkai's accuser
played on La Salle's women's team. She's a friend of the University of New Haven
women's team member who's accusing two other La Salle players of sexually assualting

Police Name Suspect in Series of Weekend Carjackings and Sexual AssaultPolice
in the Bay Area have identified the man who who allegedly committed a series of
four carjackings, a sexual assault, and several kidnappings over the weekend.
Investigators are looking for 22-year-old Derrick Austin Hill of Fairfield.
They believe that as of noon on Tuesday, Hill had returned to the Fairfield area

are now acknowledging they may have a serial rapist on their hands. Police
said Monday that at least four rapes in Savannah - including at least two on the
southside - are likely the result of one man. The suspect is described as a
black male, in his mid-to-late twenties, between 5'10"-6'2', weighing

Made In Execution-Style Triple Murder Bodies Found In House Near Ohio State University     COLUMBUS,
Ohio -- An arrest was made Saturday in the execution-style murder of three people
whose bodies were found in a house near the Ohio State University campus last
year. Columbus police announced that SWAT teams raided a home and arrested Vernon
L. Spence, 30, of Columbus. Spence was charged with three counts of aggravated
murder. Spence was allegedly connected to the shooting deaths through evidence
recovered at the scene and other information. Two other people were arrested along
with Spence on federal charges, but they have not been charged in connection with

A woman says she was raped after leaving a MAX light rail train in Beaverton.
The victim told police that she got off at the Millikan Way Station with a man
she met on board. He convinced her to take a nearby shortcut. She followed him
into the woods, where he allegedly raped her and threatened to slice her throat
with a knife. The attacker ran when a passerby heard her screams for help.
A felony arrest warrant has been issued for 23-year-old Mark Anthony Lockhart.

Rapist Gets Life for Calif. Attacks LONG
BEACH, Calif. -- A serial rapist convicted of attacking more than a dozen women
in Southern California over a five-year period was sentenced to life in prison.
Mark Wayne Rathbun was convicted last month in a series of attacks that began
in 1997 and continued until his arrest in 2002. Prosecutors said the drifter climbed
into open windows and sneaked through unlocked doors to sexually assault women

Dr. Charles Momah, a South King County gynecologist whose license was suspended

Newport News Black Charged With Rape - killed dog that tried to help Carlos
Montrevil, 39, is charged with rape and use of a firearm in the commission
of a felony. The Newport News female claimed she had been raped by Montrevil,
who was still in the room when the officer entered. While the rape was occurring,
the woman claims her dog, a pitbull mix, attempted to attack Montrevil. She told
the officer that Montrevil shot and killed the dog. The dog's body was found deceased

of seven women between April 1998 and March 2003 and the assault of

said he would try to find local residents who can give an unbiased verdict of
whether Lee beat and stabbed 22-year-old Charlotte
Murray Pace in a violent struggle throughout her home. Pace was killed
May 31, 2002. Her partially clothed body was found in her roommate's bedroom and
she had been slashed, beaten and stabbed 81 times with a flathead screwdriver
and a knife. Detectives said her hands were bruised, suggesting she fought her

Haven's police chief confirms that a man arrested in a rape case last month is
believed to be the rapist involving in at least three other attacks. Police believe
28-year-old Chavis Williams is the serial rapist involved in sexual assaults

David Wayne Bell, 18, was arrested and held in the Bronx on several arrest
warrants including robbery, assault, larceny and attempted kidnapping charges.
Bell is "a person of interest" in connection with the murder of Fay

Helmedech. She and her one year old daughter Ayanna were seen leaving the
