Black suspects In 85-year-old White Mississippi woman's killing caught in Louisiana    BOGALUSA,
La. -- Three people face capital murder charges after they were caught allegedly
trying to cash the checks of a Mississippi woman who was found slain in the trunk
of her car. Authorities said Edith Blackwell,
85, disappeared Tuesday from her dairy farm in Tylertown, Miss. Her
body was found in the car trunk in a remote area of southwest Mississippi on Wednesday.
Bogalusa police Sgt. Darrell Darden identified the suspects as Carey Williams,
28, who once worked for the victim; Williams' wife, Taquana Bell, 29; and
Laroncus Smith, 21, Williams' nephew. Officials said they were unsure whether
Blackwell was killed before she was locked in the trunk, or died of suffocation.

Still Haunt Nigrian Migrant Law School Shooter - talks of 'demons' DUBLIN,
Va. -- Peter Odighizuwa spends most of his time in a cramped jail cell,
alone with the delusions that fed his deadly shooting spree at a fledgling law
school. In his first extended interview, Odighizuwa told The AP he thinks often
of the 2002 rampage, when he killed the school's
dean, a professor and a student and wounded three other students, though
he has trouble explaining why he did it. "I really don't know what happened,"
Odighizuwa said Tuesday. "I feel like I'm God sometimes, and I was
running demons out of the school. It was like an exorcism."

Newport News Man Arrested in Murder of (White) Fredericksburg Man -
Hatecrime?  A
man was charged with first-degree murder in the shooting of a man whose body was
found in the trunk of his car left on a Newport News street. William Ola Henderson
also was charged with use of a firearm to commit a felony when he was arrested
in the slaying of John Register.
There was a lot of blood inside the car which was towed to the city's impound

said that Jones has been arrested 19 times since 1980 for suspicion of driving

an 88-year old woman in her home Saturday afternoon. Officers say it

Miraglia Allegedly Decapitates Grandmother, Ex-Girlfriend OCEAN TOWNSHIP, N.J. -- Authorities said a man decapitated and cut off the hands and feet of his grandmother and former girlfriend Tuesday. Rosario Miraglia, 31, called police after emerging from his grandmother's two-story home covered in blood. When police entered the home they discovered the bodies of 87-year-old Julia Miraglia and 31-year-old Leigh L. Martinez. Officials said Martinez was the mother of Miraglia's child and lived with the older woman. A carving knife and a meat cleaver were found on the first floor next to the grandmother's body. "It's one of the more disturbing (crime) scenes I've seen," said police detective Lt. Antonio Amodio. |

-- City police are still searching for suspects in the abduction and rape of a
15-year-old girl. Around
10 p.m. Sunday, an armed man allegedly forced the girl into a Mitsubishi with
three other men. She says she was driven to a remote, wooded area, then raped
by the four men and released. Dale Jackson, 18, was arrested early
Monday morning and charged with rape. The other three suspects -- all black men
believed to be between 18 and 25 -- are still on the loose. |

Tthe New Orleans Police Department have issued an arrest warrant for a man wanted
in connection with the rape of a 49-year-old woman. Milton Bickham, 38,
faces a charge of forcible rape in the alleged attack which occurred near the
intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Simon Bolivar Street.
The alleged victim accepted a ride with an acquaintance who sexually assaulted
and physically attacked her in the car. -

Suspect Tyrone Raymond Caught In Indiana  HAHNVILLE,
La. -- There was a break this weekend in the four-year-old case of a Laplace cab
driver who was killed on Easter Sunday 2004. Deputies on Sunday arrested Tyrone
Raymond, 29, in the death of Janice Fugate,
61. Raymond had lived next door to Fugate, and has been implicated in her death
