Mobile men charged with plot to kill 12-year-old rape victim  Two
men have been charged in Alabama with plotting to kill a 12-year-old
girl to prevent her from testifying against a 52-year-old man charged
with raping her in a Louisiana motel after meeting her on the Internet. 21-year-old
Michael Villar and 22-year-old Michael Phillips were arrested yesterday.
Villar's father, 52-year-old William Villar, was arrested at a Slidell
motel and charged with first-degree rape, first-degree sodomy and enticing a child

police arrested Alfred Adams Friday for attempted rape and burglary in
the University area. They say they are not certain if he is also responsible for
three break-ins reported Monday in the same vicinity. Two

Police nab suspect they say committed 63 burglaries and raped 13-year-old girl Houston
police say the recent arrest of one man may help them close the books on over
60 burglary cases. Police say Bob Lewis Smith terrorized northeast Houston
for more than a month. Right now the suspect is charged with only one burglary,
but police say he broke into several homes in a small area -- 65 places in all.
Authorities are also charging him with indecency with a child because he allegedly
sexually assaulted a 13-year-old girl during

to police, the victim was asleep in her first floor apartment at 1:30 p.m. when
a noise in the living room woke her up. An unknown man was in the living room

Sets Execution Date for former honor roll student turned murderer Christopher
Davis’s execution was scheduled for March 15, 2005. Davis was sentenced
to death 1996 for robbing, kidnapping and shooting two men after setting up a
fake transaction to sell guns. Davis was also serving a life sentence for the
death of Adriann Dickerson. The girl

Trial begins for Negro accused of raping as many as six women Testimony
began Monday in the trial of a man accused of raping as many as six women in a
five-year period. Thirty-six-year-old Christopher Baker has pleaded not
guilty to rape, kidnapping, aggravated sodomy and a number of other charges. Prosecutors
say Baker used various techniques to get women in his car and then, they say,
he would attack them. In court today, one of his alleged victims, now 22-years-old,

Police in Alexandria, Va., are offering a $6,000 reward for bike path rapist Rigoberto
Ramos Police
in Alexandria, Va., are offering a $6,000 reward for help finding a man accused
of sexually assaulting a woman on a bike path last month. Investigators said they
are looking for Rigoberto Ramos. He usually wears a beard, according to authorities,
but they said Ramos may have shaved it to change his appearance. Police said he
also has several tattoos including one of praying hands and under the tattoo,
in Spanish, are words meaning "rest in peace." -

Four Indicted in Deadly Home Invasion A grand jury Monday indicted four men for the grisly slayings of six people in a Florida home, and the state prosecutor planned to seek the death penalty. he recruited three teenagers to beat the victims to death with baseball bats

bats, aluminum baseball bats," "They did severe trauma to all of the

Teen
Brutally Raped On Way To Bus Stop  A
Miami teen was attacked and brutally raped on her way to a bus stop Monday morning.
The 17-year-old girl was walking to a bus stop at Northwest Third Avenue and 13th
Street at about 6 a.m. when a man allegedly made inappropriate comments to her,
according to police. The teen tried to run but was caught from behind, choked
and raped in a vacant lot. The suspect is described as a black male. -

Chicago:
Three teenagers arrested in aggravated robbery and criminal sexual assault  One
of the suspects is a 16-year-old juvenile whose name is not being released. The
second is a 17-year-old named Lorenzo McClatchey. Police said the two teens
and a third suspect entered the office building at approximately 10 p.m. Wednesday
night. Police said the building is one with which the suspects are familiar and
have robbed before. The men had a handgun and they took the employees' wallets
and cell phones, then sexually

Police Nab Alleged Murderer At Church 
Philadelphia police said they caught a man at church Sunday, who is accused of
two murders. Lyndell Swinson, 28, attended services Sunday at the Mount
Airy Church of God. Swinson has been the subject of an intense manhunt since Aug.
13, when his ex-girlfriend, Laquicta Robinson,
26, was found dead in her home. Swinson is accused of shooting Robinson in the
head. She was the mother of his four children. He was also wanted for murder of

Crematory Operator Faces Lawsuit  It
was a scene too horrible to imagine: heaps of decaying bodies that were supposed
to be cremated -- many spilling out of a storage shed, scattered around a crematory
building and in nearby woods. A civil lawsuit against former operator Brent Marsh
and the estate of his late father, former owner Ray Brent Marsh, was to
go to trial Monday, 2 1/2 years after the remains were discovered at the Tri-State

Murder
counts filed in fatal crash   Harnett
County sheriff's deputies have charged five with murdering a Campbell University
administrative assistant and her daughter as they tried to elude lawmen Friday.
Wanda Finch Knox, 43,
and her 17-year- old daughter Shannon Knox
died when a white Lincoln Town Car carrying the five rammed into their Jaguar
near U.S. 401 and N.C. 210. The crash ended a 20- minute chase that topped speeds
of 100 mph. Wanda Knox worked for the School of Business at Campbell University.
Her daughter was a standout tennis player and student at Harnett Central High
School in Angier.      The
four each were charged with first-degree murder. They are: Gregory Christopher
King, 19; Stephen Darrell Swinton, 22; John Michael Kelly, 19; and Jodie Lee Steele,
22. The driver Roame Jackson, 26, was charged with two counts of first-degree
murder, speeding to elude arrest, exceeding 100 mph and careless and reckless

former world championship wrestler who lives in Cartersville, Ga., is facing charges
of forcing women into prostitution. Norris Harrison Jr., known as "Hard
Body" in the wrestling ranks, is accused of holding three women against their
wills and acting as their pimp to get them to repay their debts. Three of seven
women who were with Harrison at the store told officers they they were forced

are more troubles for a man accused in a sexual assault four months ago at a Glendale
golf course. Jayarr Knowshisgun, 23, has been charged with another sex

that DNA, or genetic evidence, has been gathered that implicates Knowshisgun in

Parolee held in rape of 14-year-old at birthday party A
parolee suspected of giving alcohol to a 14-year-old girl and then raping her
after she fell asleep at her friend's birthday party was arrested. Joshua Bracy,
30, was at a birthday party night at his girlfriend's house. After his girlfriend
fell asleep Bracy befriended the 14-year-old and gave her alcoholic beverages.
The girl then fell asleep on the couch and later woke to find Bracy sexually assaulting

Houston police have arrested a cable worker accused of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old
girl in southwest Houston last month. Douglas Alberto Sanchez, 24, has
been charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child. He was working as a television
cable contractor at the girl's home when police say the sexual assault occurred.

Morris Charged In Cannady Murder Enters Guilty Plea  DURHAM,
N.C. -- One of the five men accused in the murder of an 89-year-old Durham woman
has entered a guilty plea. Ricky Morris appeared in court to admit his
role in the death of Lois Cannady.
He now faces second-degree murder charges instead of first-degree murder charges.
Part of his agreement involves him testifying against the other four men involved
in the case. Lois Cannady, 89, was

An
inmate charged with the rape and murder of an elderly woman in Turlock 18 years
ago was arraigned in Stanislaus County Superior Court. The judge assigned a public
defender to represent Arthur Sanchez, 41. Sanchez is accused of killing
Mary Martha Odermatt,
65, behind Sacred Heart Catholic Church early in the morning on Aug. 11, 1986.
Sanchez is serving life in prison without possibility of parole after he admitted
