Black boy, 16, only gets 20 years for raping, sodomizing and strangling a 14-year-old White girl and his own cousin Saying Lamon McKoy is "a menace to everybody," a judge sentenced the 16-year-old to 20 years to life in prison for killing two teenage girls in Geneva. "There's no question in my mind you have forfeited your right to live in society," "You are a rolling ball of chaos." McKoy was 15 when he strangled, sodomized and raped Ashley Vincent, 14, and his cousin, Monique McKoy, 18. After his arrest, two other young girls came forward, saying they also had been sexually assaulted by McKoy.
David Libsack, Ashley's stepfather, also said in court how Ashley's death has affected his family. "Look at me, you coward!" he shouted at McKoy. "You don't deserve to live another day." Libsack said McKoy should have a tattoo on his forehead, branding him as a "perverted, child-molesting child killer." He said he hopes McKoy dies in prison. "You will burn in hell for what you did," Libsack said. "When you do not exist anymore, the world will be a better place. So hurry up and go to hell, you child killer." - (Gman) |

They came to Pomona Superior Court to catch one of their first glimpses of James Winslow Dixon Jr., the former Monrovia gang member who is accused of killing the 20-year-old Cerritos woman. Dixon pleaded not guilty to Burmeister's murder and two unrelated West Covina rape charges. Burmeister was found with her throat cut inside her new Chevy in 2001. Black Haitian migrant impersonating cop - pulled over White banker and murdered him   Reginald Gousse, the man accused of shooting to death a Garden City man after pulling him over and impersonating a police officer, was arraigned yesterday on charges of second-degree murder. Gousse, 31, of Rosedale, pleaded not guilty to the charges in First District Court in Hempstead, as the widow of the victim, James Gottlieb, watched and trembled with emotion. Gousse has an alien card, which says he is originally from Haiti, and is potentially facing life in prison.Gousse also served 5 years at Sing Sing state prison from 1992 to 1997 on a first-degree attempted robbery conviction. - (Brewski) |
Black Suspect Arrested Nearly Five Years After Killing White Man   A man has been arrested on murder charges nearly five years after the body of a 22-year-old man was found in a Fort Lauderdale trash bin. On April 5, 2000, a fire in a trash bin led authorities to discover the body of Matthew Collins, 22, burned beyond recognition. Authorities said Collins had a conflict with fellow employees at a Mars Music store. Fort Lauderdale detectives said they decided to pursue all leads until they paid off, resulting in the arrest of Brendan Rao. Police said Rao made comments during a taped telephone conversation that contained details about the crime they say only Collins' killer could have known. - (Brewski)

DNA ties rape suspect to Fla. murder  Fla. -- A grand jury charged a man being held in North Carolina with murder and kidnapping in the death of a Peruvian nanny after DNA evidence allegedly tied him to the crime. An indictment charged Jerry Wiggins, 28, in the strangling of Peruvian-born Monica Rivera Valdizan, 26. Wiggins was being held in a Charlotte, N.C., jail on rape, burglary and kidnapping charges in a North Carolina case. He also was being held on a fugitive warrant from South Florida after DNA collected from an Oct. 12 rape in Charlotte allegedly linked Wiggins to the nanny's slaying. - (forum) |
Black suspect arrested in murder of White inmate on prison bus   Police now have a suspect in last week`s murder of a Baltimore prisoner: Kevin Johns. Johns has been accused of killing fellow inmate, 20-year-old Phillip Parker, Jr., on a prison bus last week. Prison officials said Parker was strangled to death. Parker, an inmate in Baltimore serving time for unarmed robbery, came to Hagerstown to testify against another inmate. When the bus he was traveling on arrived back in Baltimore, his lifeless body was discovered. Kevin Johns, already sentenced to life behind bars for killing his cell mate, is now accused of strangling Parker. - (Brewski) |
Veteran San Antonio Assistant Police Chief Jerry Pittman Denies He Raped his Niece San Antonio Police Assistant Chief Jerry Pittman denied Tuesday that he sexually assaulted a niece Sunday night. The woman told police Pittman allegedly choked her and told her, "She will no longer be living" if she told anyone about the alleged incident. The woman also said that Pittman also told her, "Nothing will happen anyway, because of who I am," the report stated. The woman also said Pittman sexually assaulted two other times this year, the report stated. Pittman remains on the job pending an investigation. No charges have been filed. The Bexar County District Attorney's Office is scheduled to review the case once a police investigation is concluded. - (Brewski) |
Family of White Man Gunned Down in "Thrill Kill" by TB and Jamar Speak Out  A family tries to make sense of their loved one's murder, something police are calling a "thrill kill." Police say John McCoy was gunned down in cold blood Monday night. While the two suspects sit behind bars Friday night, the McCoy family prepares to say their final goodbyes. The family says they are getting their strength from John McCoy's 10-year-old daughter Marissa. McCoy had no chance Monday night when police say Terrence Bowser and Jamar Green pulled up beside his car and opened fire. The men told police they wanted to see what it was like to kill someone. Boyfriend Charged in Woman's Death A 34 year-old Roseland, Louisiana, man has been arrested for the Saturday shooting death of a McComb, Mississippi, woman. McComb Police say Shaunta Ardillo, 25, was shot at least five times through the right window of a Ford Expedition in a parking lot in McComb after a domestic dispute over the weekend.Louisiana police arrested Alanza "Henry" James, 34, Sunday night for the murder of Ardillo. McComb investigators say Ardillo had been living in McComb for only a few months but had recently been fired from her job at a tanning studio. James had been fired recently from a McComb auto dealership. The shooting occurred in a church parking lot behind a rooming house where Ardillo lived at 411-1/2 Delaware Avenue at about 1:50 p.m. Saturday. She was found in a 1998 white Ford Expedition, shot to death, Saturday evening. Police say Ardillo was the mother of four children under the age of nine. Sexual predator on parole accused of rape, kidnapping Cincinnati police are searching today for a sexual predator on parole who is accused of kidnapping and raping two 17-year-old girls Monday at knifepoint. Keith Mustin, 23, is charged with two counts of rape, two counts of kidnapping and one count of felonious assault. One of the teens was cut with the knife during the assault. Mustin was released from the Southern Ohio Correction Facility in Lucasville on November 15 after serving four years and 10 months of a five-year prison sentence. He was convicted of two counts of attempted rape in 1999 for trying to force a 21-year-old woman and 14-year-old girl into having sex with him after meeting them at a library. |

The young victim, now 15, explained how her life went terribly wrong. She was just 13 years old when Anthony Freeman (pictured) promoted her as a prostitute. Freeman was sentenced to only four years in prison on four counts of promoting prostitution.

"He was armed with a handgun when he forced his way into the house and he hit the 80-year-old grandfather over the head with a gun and took his wallet, keys to his car and some money," Hoffman said. "Then he took his car, the one on the Amber alert." Pigg fatally shot Nashville: The gunman fatally wounded on Century Street is identified as Deedrick Montale Pigg, 25, of Rowan Drive. The man who shot Pigg, Charles Edward Bowers, 51, who operates a North Nashville market, reported that he had just pulled into his driveway and was getting out of his car when he saw a gunman (Pigg) coming toward him from behind a house across the street. Bowers was also carrying a pistol and turned to face Pigg. Bowers said Pigg fired at him, but missed. Bowers returned fire. Pigg was struck one time in the face and fled. He collapsed and was rushed to General Hospital where he was pronounced dead. - (Rasp) |
Police: Woman says she starved children to death - Alabama mother charged with killing her 3 kids (CNN) -- A Huntsville, Alabama, woman charged with capital murder in the deaths of her three children told investigators she "deliberately starved her children to death," a police spokesman said Saturday. Nathshay Yvonne Ward, 33, is charged with killing Shanieka Y. Ward, 11; Latricia Ward, 9; and Christopher O. Ward, 8. "She told investigators that she deliberately starved her children to death. They did appear to be malnourished," Wendell Johnson of the Huntsville police said. Autopsies will determine how and when they died, he said. - (forum) |
Youngest Murder Suspect Found Guilty In One Killing  CINCINNATI -- The youngest murder suspect ever tried in Hamilton County was found guilty of one murder. David Harris had been charged with shooting and robbing two men when he was 14 last year. He could face life in prison when he is scheduled for sentencing in a few weeks. A Hamilton County jury found him guilty of murder and aggravated robbery in the killing of David Hutchinson, 20. - (Gman)

Suspect Arrested In Shooting Caught On Tape - Victim Says He's Happy To Be Alive CINCINNATI -- Police announced the arrest of a suspect in the shooting of a store clerk Friday. Christopher Smith, 19, was arrested and charged with aggravated robbery, felonious assault, possession of weapons while under disability, possession of drugs, and several outstanding warrants, police said. Officials said the drama unfolded in front of store security cameras at the Liftas Market at Elberon and West Eigth streets as a man approached a clerk with a shotgun and pulled the trigger without warning. The victim, Zeyad Alnajar, was hospitalized after the robber shot him in the hand. Alnajar said that he is just happy to be alive. - (Gman)

FBI Arrests Teen On Vegas Rape, Kidnapping Charges Los Angeles - A 19-year-old teenager was arrested Friday in connection with kidnapping, rape and assault with a deadly weapon charges in Las Vegas, according to the FBI. Authorities arrested Urlin Lloyd Clark, who was hiding in a bedroom closet in Alhambra. He was taken to the Los Angeles Police Department's headquarters, and he is expected to be extradited to Las Vegas

The victim, who is white, told officers the men used racial slurs as they chained him to the truck. Negro Sexually Assaults Three-Year-Old Child at Day Care Richland County Sheriff's deputies are looking for a dark sex beast who sexually assaulted a three-year-old girl at a Midlands day care center. He walked into Spring Valley Presbyterian Church Day Care on Sparkleberry Lane, took the child into a restroom, and sexually assaulted her. It happened on January 24th. The beast was about 25-years-old. He wore a large diamond earring.
