Fag Former Scout Leader Gets 22 Years For Rape Of Little Boys  Ohio -- A former scout leader and school worker was sentenced to 22 years for the rape of three boys. David J. Porter, 44, pleaded guilty to raping three boys and sexually assaulting another boy, all of whom came under his watch in an after-school program or the Boy Scouts. The homosexual attacks occurred at Porter's apartment, his car, or on Boy Scout camping trips. Porter had been employed by the after-school program as a van driver and tutor. The victims were between the ages of 5 and 14 when the assaults occurred. They all report having been raped numerous times by Porter. - (forum) |
Rape suspect charged in several cases - Man also wanted in other attacks The question is could a man arrested for a rape in northern Indiana be a serial rapist? Police say that James Washington is now linked to six attacks in two states. Washington reportedly used a badge to gain the trust of the victims. The attacks took place in Portage, Hammond and Hobart, Indiana and in south suburban Riverdale. Police say the rapist used a stun gun and handcuffs in several of the attacks but he misled investigators by using different cars to use during the incidents. |
Student charged with rape - Woman reports sexual assault in Norse Hall A 20-year-old, male Northern Kentucky University student was charged and arrested Feb. 24, with raping a 19-year-old female acquaintance, also an NKU student, in his dorm room Feb. 23, according to a police report. Michael Dwayne Powell, a resident of Norse Hall, was charged with first-degree rape and transported to the Campbell County jail by an NKU police officer. The woman said she and Powell exchanged phone numbers Feb. 23, and later that day he invited her to his dorm room. Man sentenced to life for killing daughter in day care attack The Detroit man convicted of fatally beating his three-year-old daughter proclaimed his innocence today before being sentenced to life in prison.Bernard Kelly received the mandatory sentence of life in prison without parole in the September death of Stefanie Belue. He also received 50 to 75 years for shooting the operator of Stefanie's in-home day care center, and the woman's niece. Two Men Arrested In Rape of 13-Year-Old CLERMONT, Fla. -- Two men are in custody, accused of using a bogus story to get inside a Clermont home to sexually batter a teenage girl inside. Marleno Todd just shook his head and Luis Soto stared at the ground as deputies took them both to jail. But detectives say they were much more aggressive earlier this week, when they allegedly talked their way inside a Clermont home and sexually battered a 13-year-old girl. Jury to decide if man guilty in brutal rape of 72-year-old woman  A jury deliberated for about an hour before deciding to call it quits Wednesday in the trial of Stanley Bradley, 40. It was Feb. 6, 2004, when a 72-year-old woman's home was broken into. Around 3 a.m., a man entered the victim's home and "threw (the victim) to the floor and attempted to suffocate her by holding his hands over her nose and mouth," a Calhoun County Sheriff's Office report indicates. Man Uses Stolen Keys To Enter House, Rape Woman MIAMI -- A woman was raped after her sister's house keys were stolen in a carjacking nearly a month ago, police said. Police said the victims of crimes often try to put the ugly situation behind them as soon as possible. In this case, police said when their house keys were stolen in a carjacking, the victims did not move fast enough to have their locks changed. Police said this led to the rape of the carjacking victim's sister. The robbery victim's sister was surprised in their home and raped at gunpoint in front of her two small children, police said. Man Charged in Rape and Deaths of Winona Mother and Daughter Paul Allen Gordon was charged Monday with eight counts of murder in the deaths of a Winona mother and daughter whose bodies were found after an apartment fire in December. Furthermore, Gordon was accused of sexually assaulting Swanson before killing her, MacLean said. Gordon allegedly set the fire to cover up the crimes. Judge triples sentence for 'barbaric' kidnap and gang rape by Mohammad Hasan "The acts that were testified to were the most odious and offensive this court has ever seen," Judge Rudy Nichols told Hasan, exceeding the recommended sentencing guidelines of up to 29 years and eight months. "It is not an overstatement to use the word 'barbaric.' " Mohammad Hasan was convicted last month of kidnapping a woman and her male companion from Clutch Cargo's on Jan. 20, 2002, running the man over with a car, then repeatedly raping the woman in his River Rouge home, along with two other men, before taking her to Belle Isle, where he beat her and slammed her against a tree before leaving her. Judge Sets Bond For Wrigleyville Rape Suspect - Cruikshank Recently Denied Bail  CHICAGO -- A judge set a $60,000 cash bond Friday for a 25-year-old man previously held without bail after being charged with attacking two women in Wrigleyville and one in Forest Park. Criminal Court Judge Marcus Salone set the bond for Paul Cruikshank, who had previously been denied bond in the December 2004 attacks. Cruikshank forced a 23-year-old woman into her apartment building at gunpoint, striking her multiple times in the head, according to Rajk. Chattanooga Police Sergeant Charged With Extortion, Bribery  The FBI said Friday it had arrested Chattanooga Police Sgt. Gerry M. Davis on charges of extortion and bribery. FBI agent Clark said a long-term investigation "revealed multiple incidents where Davis used his official position of authority to extort individuals and businesses in the Chattanooga area." The FBI is asking that individuals "who have been affected by these acts of official misconduct" to come forward. Clark said it is believed that some people "have been hesitant to come forward for fear of reprisals from Davis." An Indianapolis neurologist accused of performing unnecessary breast exams on female patients was sentenced Friday to three years of home detention. Michael French, 50, pleaded guilty to six counts of criminal confinement. He was charged with fondling the breasts of five patients. The sentence suspends French's medical license for 40 years and orders him to serve six years of probation. He also must register as a sex offender. In court Friday, French apologized and said he was ashamed. He also said he betrayed the patients' trust. - (
