Albert Page was arrested Thursday and charged in connection with a rape Albert Page, 34, 1100 S. Baldwin Ave., Lot 72, was charged with rape, intimidation, domestic battery and confinement. According to police reports, Page picked up a 28-year-old Marion woman up from work Wednesday and brought her home. The rape occurred after they arrived home at about 9:30 p.m., police said. |
Columbia, SC -- Quincy Allen pleaded guilty to killing two people in South Carolina and two others in North Carolina was sentenced to death Fridayto the shooting deaths of Jedediah Harr, 22, and Dale Evonne Hall, 45, in Columbia. Those killings were part of a monthlong crime spree that also left two people dead in North Carolina. Allen was serving life in prison for those crimes. Former Pastor Will Appeal His Own Plea On Sex Charges JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A former pastor Friday pleaded no contest to having sex with a teenage girl and was sentenced to six months in jail, three years of probation and must register as a sex offender. Arizona: Victim identifies assault suspect Raul Lujan Someone named Raul had been loitering around a high-end apartment complex. A few hours later he allegedly kidnapped, sexually assaulted and robbed a woman at a dental office. The victim singled out his image from a photo lineup. It was Raul Lujan. Lujan approached a 35-year-old woman as she reported for work at Red Rock Family Dentistry. He claimed to have a gun and forced her inside the business, where she was sexually assaulted and robbed. The woman later called police and provided a detailed denoscription of the assailant. - (Rasp) |
Cabbie accused of raping mentally disabled woman then making her pay for his dinner A Yellow Cab driver has been charged with sexually assaulting a fare, then forcing her to pay for dinner afterwards. The driver, Gerald Toussaint, is being held on a sexual battery of a mentally disabled woman charge. The cabbie is accused of picking up the 41-year-old mentally disabled woman as a fare then insisting she go dinner with him. When she finally agreed the taxi driver allegedly took her to his house and sexually battered her. Then, the suspect took the woman to a Chinese restaurant and made her pick up the tab. - (Rasp) |
Ex-boyfriend charged in murder mutilation of 'exotic dancer' - police find body in shallow grave with missing fingers ![]() Police found the body of Emily Cagal, 24, in a shallow grave. Some of Cagal's fingers were missing, which could indicate she was tortured before her death. Police arrested Antoine Gatewood, Cagal's former boyfriend and bodyguard, along with his roommate, Dion Desir, last Friday. Investigators believe Gatewood killed Cagal inside her apartment and then disposed of her body with help from Desir. - (Brewski) |
Trial begins for 1995 rape murder case![]() The suspected murderer of a 17-year-old Goshen girl will go on trial today. The partially clothed body of Jessica Zbras was found along Rock Run Creek in Goshen nearly 10-years ago. It wasn't until 35-year-old Terrence Evans was arrested last year that police had a suspect in the case. Evans had been the boyfriend of Jessica's mother. Victim, Suspect Die In Standoff At Arlington Gas Station![]() JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A man who was briefly held hostage by a gunman was fatally shot in a standoff at an Arlington gas station Sunday morning, then police killed the gunman who had been threatening customers. Jacksonville Sheriff's Officers identified the suspect as 46-year-old James Carter Jr. Carter had just shot and killed Ronald Alan Elder, who stopped at the station on his way to a planned day of fishing. Elder, 43, a native of Birmingham, Ala., and a Navy veteran, repaired radios for the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office and led a church youth group. He and his wife had an 18-month-old son. - (Tyrone N. KC Police Officer Resigns In Wake Of Theft Charges KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A former police officer has been charged with stealing. Marshon Pope, 38, resigned from the Kansas City Police Department Tuesday afternoon. He had been with the force since 1997. Pope was charged with criminal theft. He is accused of stealing cash from drivers he pulled over during traffic stops. Police Chief Jim Corwin said officers and FBI agents set up a sting operation Tuesday. An undercover agent posed as a driver who didn't speak English. The agent had marked bills in his car. Pope pulled the undercover agent over and allegedly took the marked money. - (White Boy) |
Occupied Okinawa: Black sailor charged in stabbing death ROYAL PALM BEACH — Audley Evans II joined the Navy to pursue his dream of being a dentist. But the 20-year-old sailor now faces a possible death sentence, charged with killing a fellow sailor at the U.S. Marine base in Okinawa, Japan. Evans, a 2003 graduate of Suncoast High School, is imprisoned along with two other sailors and a Marine at the Camp Hansen Brig, awaiting a murder trial in the stabbing death of Adam Palecco, 21. - (reader link) |
Restaurant Shooting Trial A man will be tried this morning, for a bizarre shooting at a Philadelphia restaurant last year because he didn't like his food. Police say James McCoy opened fire at the Old Country Buffet in Summerdale last July because he was unhappy with his food. Fortunately, the bullets did not hit anyone. St. Paul: Murder Suspect Charged With Rape![]() Nathaniel C. Glass has been charged with raping a woman and police said he is also a suspect in the murder of Memory Pachowicz. Nathaniel C. Glass, 26, was charged with one count of criminal sexual conduct. Prosecutors allege Glass approached a female pedestrian in a car and asked if she wanted a ride. The woman accepted, Glass allegedly took the woman to an apartment. Once at the apartment, the woman became “spooked” because the apartment appeared vacant. The woman saw a bed frame, pillows, a hammer and clutter in the apartment, but no furniture. While in the apartment Glass put a knife to the woman’s face and raped her. - (Brewski) |

Hall finally executed for the murder of White woman Barbara Jo Wood who he threw into the Mississippi River ![]() Eleven years after he threw a woman to her death in the icy Mississippi River, Stanley L. Hall of St. Louis was executed by injection. Hall, 37, was pronounced dead at 12:06 a.m. in the Potosi Correctional Center for the murder of Barbara Jo Wood of south St. Louis County on Jan. 14, 1994. He and an accomplice had kidnapped her from the South County Shopping Center because they planned to use her car in a drive-by shooting. Houston: Police want man who posed as police officer to abduct and sexually assault a 14-year-old girl He posed as police officer to abduct and sexually assault a 14-year-old girl last week. The girl was walking home from a friend's house when the suspect, driving a white, four-door Chevrolet Impala with a dark interior Showing the girl a silver badge similar to those carried by officers, the driver of the car identified himself as a police officer and ordered the girl into the car. The girl was driven near the intersection of the Eastex Freeway and the North Loop, where she was ordered out of the vehicle and sexually assaulted. Good-looking New Orleans Man Accused In Sexual Assault The New Orleans Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating a man wanted in connection with a Monday sexual assault. Glen Lewis III, 29, of 5214 Constance St., is accused of attacking a woman at about 11 p.m. in the 7200 block of Culpepper Drive. Crimestoppers, at (504) 822-1111, is offering as much as $2,500 for information leading to Lewis' whereabouts. Callers may remain anonymous. - (White Boy)

Philly: Ex-Mayor Goode's Nephew Charged In Dog-chain and Hammer Sex Assault Police said the incident involving James Goode, 46, the nephew of ex-mayor Wilson Goode Sr. The 39-year-old alleged (female) victim said that she was visiting Goode when he tied her to a chair, then restrained her by placing an extension cord and a dog leash around her neck. The alleged victim said that Goode began to physically and sexually assault her with a hammer, but she was able to escape through a window that led to the roof and began to yell for help. Responding police officers found the alleged victim on the roof naked, with the dog chain and extension cord around her neck. - (The Bobster) Mayor W. Wilson Goode Sr, the first black mayor of Philadelphia is the one that authorized Philadelphia Police to drop a bomb on the headquarters of the radical Black "MOVE" organization in 1985. In the end, 11 people were killed and a neighborhood was leveled. |
Mississippi Rapist Caught In Plaquemines Parish Plaquemines Parish sheriff's deputies arrested John Westley Myles (aka John Westey Myles), a convicted rapist from Mississippi who failed to register as a sex offender and is a person of interest in the case of a missing toddler, according to the Hinds County, Miss., Sheriff's Department. Myles was convicted of rape in 1993 and wanted for questioning in the disappearance of a 3-year-old. Mississippi detectives bave been looking for Myles for more than a year and recently received information that he was in the New Orleans area. - (White Boy) |
Federal court refuses to block execution for kidnap and murder of Barbara Jo Wood![]() ST. LOUIS (AP) -- The state continued preparations for the execution of condemned killer Stanley Hall. He is to die by injection shortly after 12:01 a.m. Wednesday. He was condemned for throwing Barbara Jo Wood, 44, from the McKinley Bridge into the icy Mississippi River on Jan. 15, 1994, after he and an accomplice kidnapped her from the South County Shopping Center. They had intended to use her car for a drive-by shooting. Hall was arrested shortly after witnesses saw him struggling with a woman on the bridge. The accomplice was arrested later but never charged. Wood's brother, Mark Velcheck of Florissant, said Hall should be shown no mercy. "The thing that bothers me is people are portraying him as a victim. He's not a victim. He's a murderer. His time has come." "I just want to see him die" Velcheck said. Phyllis Velcheck, mother of Barbara Wood, said the execution "would give some finality to this." U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent David Wilhelm murdered by Brian Nichols ![]() David Wilhelm, an experienced home remodeler and builder on the side, reportedly was laying tile in a bathroom when Brian Nichols shot him, took his pistol, money and badge and drove off in Wilhelm's blue pickup. A construction worker found Wilhelm's body Saturday morning hours before Nichols was arrested about 15 miles away. The pickup also was located but not near the place where Nichols' arrest occurred. Black suspected of shooting White woman in the back during ATM robery is behind bars![]() CHARLOTTE, N.C. – A man is behind bars and now faces criminal charges for shooting a woman who was depositing money for her church last month. Police arrested George Johnson on Saturday and accused him of shooting Robin Holt while she was making a deposit at a bank off Independence Boulevard on Feb. 6. Police say Johnson attacked her, shot her in the back and then stole the money. Authorities have charged Johnson with armed robbery and assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill. ATM shooting victim returns to churchRobin Holt has been through the unimaginable. In fact, the bullet fired into her spine is still there – embedded between two vertebrae. | Gardner and some other men made a New Year's resolution to rape and kill a white woman "as retribution for 400 years of oppression of black people. Authorities say Joseph Gardner was the trigger man. He was convicted and sentenced to death in 1995 for killing of Melissa "Missi" McLauchlin. McLauchlin was raped, tortured, shot five times in the face and left to die by the side of a road in Summerville in 1992. The court today set Gardner's execution for April Eighth. - (Tyrone N.
