Police Charge U.S. Marshal With Murder in 'road-rage' incident Police
have charged an off-duty deputy U.S. marshal with murder in the shooting death
of a motorist last week on Rockville Pike. Detectives arrested 53-year-old Arthur
Lloyd this morning at his home in the county. Lloyd was engaged in a traffic
altercation with 20-year-old Ryan Stowers
when both motorists pulled into the parking lot of the Mid-Pike Plaza in Rockville
and got out of their cars. At some point during an argument, Lloyd pulled out

Jailed in Serial Rapes Philadelphia
police say they've charged a man who's been in custody for 4 months with a series
of 8 rapes in the city. He is 41-year-old Norman Wothman, known as John
Wotham from South Philadelphia. He's being charged with eight counts of rape,
also sexual assault, false imprisonment and other related charges. Wothman yesterday
told detectives he did have sex with all eight women, but claimed it was "consensual"
and not rape. |
Rape
suspects plead innocent  Two
Flagstaff men accused of the kidnapping and rape of a female
student at Northern Arizona University have pleaded innocent. Crayland
D. Jelks, 21, and Edward M. Duran, 19, were in court to enter their
pleas, after a county grand jury indicted the pair in late October. Each man was
charged with two counts of sexual assault, one count of kidnapping and two counts
of sexual abuse. Neither of the men is a student at NAU. The woman, an 18-year-old
Tucson resident, has not returned to the university since the incident. -

say an 85-year-old Alzheimer's patient
was attacked in her room at the nursing home back in November of last year. Police
have arrested and charged 31-year-old Kevin Arceneaux with aggravated sexual

- Karry Alonzo Tolbert is a registered sex offender who knew the two girls
and their families, police said. About 12:45 a.m., at a home at 9803 N. Jasmine
Ave., he told the two girls that he would teach them a new card game. Then, police

judge during his sentencing. Police described Brian Henley as a vicious,
brutal rapist who used charm and good looks to prey upon women. A jury convicted
Henley of raping and stabbing a 21-year-old
woman. The woman allowed Henley into her apartment to use the bathroom
and then Henley pulled out a knife and duct tape. She jumped out a window to a

Julian, 85 Death
sentence appeal Friday - On January 23, 2003, the bodies of Florence
McKinnon, 81, and her husband, Julian,
85, were found in their Tanglewood Drive home. Autopsy reports show
the couple died of blunt force trauma, being beaten to death by a hard,
dense object similar to a fireplace poker or tire tool. Washington now sits on
death row at Hollman prison in Atmore. An execution date hasn't been set. -

Curtis gets life for casual cold-blooded murder of Georgia woman during purse-snatch A
man was sentenced to life in prison Friday for murdering a Georgia tourist in
a case that drew national attention when it was profiled in an Oscar-winning HBO
documentary. Juan Curtis, 26, received a mandatory life prison term for
the first-degree murder and armed robbery of Mary
Ann Stephens. She and her husband were outside the motel when Curtis
walked up, shot her once in the head and took her purse. The judge also added
six months to the 10-year sentence of getaway driver Jermel Williams, 25,

"Northside
Rapist" and pervert Derrick Robins found guilty of all 14 counts - was tied
to 30 rapes  Prosecutors
put Derrick Robins on trial this week in connection with three assaults,
two of which resulted in the rapes of women.
The charges included two rapes, two kidnappings, and several counts of armed robbery.
Investigators have said they believe Robins is behind as many as 30 assaults
that happened at apartment complexes. Robins was sentenced to four consecutive
life terms. A 73-year-old woman
raped said she is 99% sure that

Police searching for low-down black fag who raped a 16-year-old boy  Police
need help identifying a black who abducted and homo-sexually assaulted a 16-year-old
boy in southeast Houston. The boy was walking home when the man pulled
up near him in a pickup. The man struck him and forced him into the truck, then
drove him to where he threatened him with a knife and sexually assaulted him.
The boy struggled with the fag, knocking the knife away, but the black then pulled
out a gun. After the assault, the homo fled. The suspect is described as black.

prosecutors say they'll ask for the death penalty against Alfonso Rodriguez
Jr., the man accused of killing North Dakota college student Dru
Sjodin. Rodriguez was released from prison last year after serving
23 years for stabbing a woman and trying to abduct her off the street. Sjodin
was kidnapped last November as she left her job and her body was found April 17

Instructors Guilty On 49 Charges of Rape and Sodomy of Students  Richard
Woodard and Lori Franklin were convicted of a combined 49 charges of
rape, sodomy and child abuse. The two were accused of raping and sexually
abusing five young students as part of their cult-like institution.
"I hope you pay
for what you did, I hope you burn in hell for what you did," said
one person. One victim gave details of their rituals which included a form
of African marriage. "They picked out books
showing that an African relationship was okay at the age
of 12 or 13," said the victim. The girl added that she lost her virginity

immigrant Horow Omah Hagi only gets 18 month prison term for rape Forty-three-year-old
Horow Omah Hagi was accused of following the woman to her Lisbon Street
apartment on July 10 and forcing her to have sex. The judge told Hagi that because
he is a Somali immigrant, he will likely be deported after he serves his
time. The victim spoke in court about how the rape has affected her life. "I
wish he didn’t have the right to do what he did to me," she said, her
voice cracking. "He hurt me in a lot of ways." Hagi’s arrest came
less than a month after he pleaded guilty to
stalking a 14-year-old newspaper delivery girl. He was convicted of
that charge on June 24 and sentenced to two days in jail, followed by one year

call Chester D. Turner, 37, the city's most prolific killer, rapist and strangler They
allege Chester D. Turner accosted most of his victims in South Los Angeles,
raped and strangled them, then dumped their bodies. The 10
women were killed between 1987 and 1998, authorities said. Their slayings
remained unsolved until the Poice Department's cold case homicide unit began looking
into them. Besides the 10 slayings, police believe Turner may be connected to

Execution of Black Dominique Green Sparks Controversy Dominique
Green was convicted of gunning down Andrew
Lastrapes Jr. during a $50 robbery outside a Houston convenience store
in October 1992. Green admitted being at the store at the time of the murder,
but maintained he was not the gunman. Dominique Green gasped slightly a
couple of times as the lethal drugs took effect and was pronounced dead nine minutes
later. The execution was opposed by relatives of the man Green was convicted of
killing and by Desmond Tutu and the Roman Catholic bishop of Galveston-Houston.

Deputies
Search for Two Black I-20 Shooting Suspects  Investigators
with the Richland County Sheriff's Department are looking for two people who shot
and killed a Columbia mother and injured her three-year-old son on October 17th
on Interstate 20 in Richland County. Twenty-year-old Stephanie
Dover died in the shooting that happened in the early morning hours
of Sunday, Oct. 17th. Her three-year-old son
was shot in the leg but survived. Another
child and Dover's fiance, Gene Derrick, were not injured -
(only severally traumatized). Investigators believe the suspect vehicle
is a dark colored Chevrolet or GMC step-side short bed pick-up truck. The driver
is a black male, with a possible small afro. The passenger is described

girl in 1986, a prosecutor said. George Williams Jr.,
49, was convicted of first-degree murder, rape, kidnapping and special circumstance
allegations that the murder of Rickie Blake
happened during a rape and kidnapping. Her body was found the next
day, along the side of the road near a freeway offramp. "He is simply a pedophile,"
Dusek told the jury. "That's the way he's wired. Because he likes kids. He
